Singapore Oceanarium replaced the former S.E.A. Aquarium with a much larger marine-learning experience across 22 themed zones. The official venue recommends about 3.5 hours, while Klook currently sells standard admission, evening tickets, voucher bundles, attraction combinations and guided add-ons.

Fast answer

  • Best default Standard one-day admission is enough for most first-time visitors.
  • Time needed The official venue recommends approximately 3.5 hours and allows visitors to stay until closing.
  • Peak periods Timed entry can apply, with a current 15-minute grace period and later entry subject to crowd conditions.
  • Klook terms Current standard packages are instantly confirmed, valid on the selected date, and non-refundable.
  • Main package warning Some Sea Jellies, retail, meal and event options do not include admission, so read the exact inclusion list before paying.

Should you book on Klook or the official Oceanarium website?

Compare the same date, visitor category and package. The official website is the direct source for current operating hours, timed-entry notices, peak and non-peak pricing, special closures, immersive programmes and venue rules. Klook is useful when its final package price, voucher inclusion or attraction combination works better for the trip.

Klook Activity ID 119 currently provides instant confirmation and mobile-voucher redemption. Standard admission is valid only on the selected date and currently does not allow cancellation, refund or changes. Official tickets are also non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including during inclement weather, so the weather and operating calendar should be checked before payment.

The official route can be clearer for current resident offers, season passes, programme availability and special notices. Klook can be easier for a traveler already building a Singapore cart or comparing combination tickets. Neither platform should be chosen only because one headline price looks lower.

Which Klook package should you choose?

Standard one-day admission is the safest default. It includes entry to the main Singapore Oceanarium route and works for visitors who do not need a meal voucher, retail credit or additional attraction.

The current Klook-exclusive admission and voucher package can be useful when you already plan to eat or shop at the listed Resorts World Sentosa outlets. Check whether a minimum spend applies, which outlet accepts each voucher, and how long the voucher remains valid.

The evening ticket currently starts entry from 4:00 PM and can include meal or retail credit. It suits visitors who want a shorter late-day visit, but only when the exact operating calendar leaves enough time. Singapore Oceanarium publishes early closures on selected dates, so a 4:00 PM ticket can be poor value on an early-closing day.

Attraction combinations can pair the Oceanarium with Universal Studios Singapore, Adventure Cove Waterpark, or other nearby products. These work when every included attraction is genuinely in the itinerary and the validity window is practical. Do not compress two major attractions into one rushed day simply because a bundle is cheaper.

Insider Experience and programme packages are for visitors who want a guided, behind-the-scenes or focused educational visit. The current Insider Experience lasts about 3.5 hours and includes admission. Sea Jellies programmes can appear either with admission or as an add-on without admission, so the package label must be read carefully.

Best default
One-day admission

Choose this when the 22-zone Oceanarium route is the main reason for visiting and no paid add-on is essential.

Best late-day option
Evening ticket

Use it only after checking the exact closing time and confirming that a shorter visit still fits the group.

Best educational upgrade
Insider or Sea Jellies programme

Check the guide language, meeting time, age rules, duration and whether admission is included.

Best multi-attraction option
Flexible combo

Choose a bundle only when the validity window and separate attraction hours work with the complete Sentosa plan.

How long do you need inside?

The official FAQ recommends approximately 3.5 hours. There is no fixed time limit after entry, so visitors can remain until closing. Three and a half hours is a planning baseline, not a promise that every family will finish comfortably.

Allow more time when traveling with children, reading the conservation material, waiting for talks, using interactive exhibits, eating inside, visiting the Research and Learning Centre, or adding Pier Adventure or an immersive programme. A fast visitor focused on the main habitats can finish sooner.

Do not schedule another fixed Sentosa attraction immediately after the expected finish. Crowd flow, meal queues, a programme, photography and same-day re-entry can extend the visit.

Timed entry and operating-hour changes

Time-entry ticketing applies during peak periods. The official FAQ asks guests to arrive during the selected slot and currently gives a 15-minute grace period. Entry after that is subject to crowd conditions, and confirmed time slots cannot normally be changed.

The operating-hours page must be checked for the exact date. Singapore Oceanarium publishes special early closures, temporary section closures and other operational notices. The Marine Mammal Habitat Viewing Panel is currently listed as temporarily closed until further notice.

When an immersive programme starts before the admission slot, the official FAQ currently allows entry on the visit date regardless of that admission time, but visitors should reach the programme meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start. The exact voucher and programme instruction control.

Children, families and visitor categories

The official venue currently separates adults aged 13 to 59, children aged 4 to 12 and seniors aged 60 and above. Children under four enter free and do not need an advance reservation. Bring identification when using a resident, senior or other eligibility-based category that requires proof.

Strollers and wagons are permitted. A nursing room is available, and the route includes elevators, ramps and accessible toilets. Families should still allow extra time for meals, rest stops and crowded interactive zones.

Pier Adventure is not automatically included with standard admission. It normally requires a separate ticket, although app-based or limited-time promotions can temporarily change access. Check the live package rather than assuming every family ticket includes it.

Re-entry, bags and lockers

Same-day re-entry is allowed during normal operating hours, excluding special events. Ask for a hand stamp before leaving, then show the stamp and ticket when returning. This can help when the group wants a meal elsewhere in Resorts World Sentosa.

Bags and backpacks are allowed but may be inspected. The official FAQ currently says there are no lockers inside Singapore Oceanarium. The nearest listed lockers are outside Universal Studios Singapore and at Coach Bay.

Travel with a manageable day bag and avoid arriving with airport luggage. A bundle that includes several Sentosa attractions does not solve the luggage problem.

Food, dietary needs and cashless payment

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except baby food, formula and food needed for special dietary requirements. Explorer’s Nook and Ocean Restaurant are among the listed dining options, and vegetarian choices are available.

The official FAQ currently states that there are no Halal-certified restaurants inside Singapore Oceanarium. Travelers needing certified options should plan a suitable meal elsewhere in Resorts World Sentosa before or after entry.

On-site payments are cashless. A Klook meal or retail voucher should be treated as useful only when the participating outlet, minimum spend, redemption window and planned purchase all work.

Accessibility and photography

The Oceanarium lists ramps, elevators and accessible toilets. Wheelchairs can currently be rented at Guest Services on Level 1 for S$15, subject to first-come-first-served availability, and can be used only inside the venue.

Strollers and wagons are allowed. Service animals are permitted for guests with disabilities, while other pets are not allowed. Contact the venue before booking when a visitor needs a specific mobility, sensory or assistance arrangement.

Photography is allowed, but flash must be turned off for animal welfare. Professional production cameras are not permitted. Follow signs and team-member instructions in programme or restricted areas.

How to reach Singapore Oceanarium

The address is 24 Sentosa Gateway within Resorts World Sentosa. From HarbourFront MRT, walk through VivoCity and take the Sentosa Express to Waterfront Station. Follow the Resorts World Sentosa signs from the station.

Current Klook directions also list buses such as RWS8, 188R and 963R. Services and operating days can change, so use the live transport planner on the visit date.

Paid parking is available in the resort area, but complimentary parking is not included with an Oceanarium ticket. Public transport is generally easier for visitors combining the Oceanarium with another Sentosa attraction.

A practical Sentosa plan

  1. Check the operating calendar. Look for early closure, time-entry and temporary habitat notices.
  2. Choose the Oceanarium package. Standard entry is enough unless an add-on or bundle solves a real itinerary need.
  3. Fix the entry time. Allow transport, security and the current grace-period rule.
  4. Reserve around 3.5 hours. Add more time for children, food, programmes or detailed exhibits.
  5. Keep the next activity flexible. Do not force Universal Studios, Adventure Cove and the Oceanarium into one day unless the group can sustain it.
  6. Plan luggage and meals. There are no lockers inside, and outside food is restricted.

How to Check Klook Deals and Vouchers for Singapore Oceanarium

  1. Resolve the booking decision first. Ticket type, date, combo attractions, visit duration, family needs, Sentosa itinerary.
  2. Search ICHI or ICHIKLOOK in the Klook app. Do not rely on a generic web search or assume one direct code is the only available saving.
  3. Tap ICHI. ICHI is the result that opens the ICHI Klook Kreator Shop.
  4. Scroll to the current vouchers. The Shop opens with city collections first; scroll down and redeem the relevant current offer.
  5. Continue the booking in Klook. Return to Singapore Oceanarium and select the redeemed voucher where eligible.
  6. Confirm the final Klook checkout price. Live checkout determines eligibility, combination rules and the amount you actually pay.

Direct-code fallback: ICHIKLOOK is also a separate direct creator code for eligible bookings. Keep this route secondary and use the direct-code eligibility and limits for current direct-code terms.

Final tip

Standard one-day admission is enough for most first visits. Check the exact operating calendar, reserve about 3.5 hours, and read every package label because some vouchers and programmes do not include admission.

Klook packages, official timed-entry rules, visitor duration, child categories, re-entry, locker availability, food, accessibility, transport and current operating notices were rechecked on July 28, 2026.
